Becky went to Books A Million with Sam, and then went swimming all afternoon. I went and got a haircut. Jenny stayed home all day. We had home-made fried chicken and mashed potatoes for dinner, with fresh broccoli and cherries. Later, we're going to have cantaloupe and ice cream for desert. --Dad
I'm still working on the auto-responder to get the message "just right." Of course, any time I make a change I have to submit a new article to test it. Ain't computers fun? --Dad
I've set an auto responder on the Blog e-Mail address (blog@TheMaurerFamily.org). You will get a response to your submission thanking you for it, and telling you the E-Mail address to use for errors. If your submission does not appear within an hour, E-Mail me and I'll check on it. The BLOG will not accept submissions from non-family members, even though the autoresponder will still say thanks. --Dad
Mike finally got home from Washington D.C. and Becky started strings camp. This afternoon was the start of VBS at church, but we didn't go because we don't have any kids that age any more, and because we didn't sign up to help. --Dad
